Abstract

248,714. Pfiffner, E. March 3, 1925, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Wired wireless systems. - The condensers usually connected between power transmission lines and earth for the absorption of excess voltages are utilized for the connection of highfrequency signal transmitting and receiving apparatus to the lines, and for bridging transformers and other apparatus which would otherwise impede the signalling currents. A number of condensers in series are employed, and the signal transmitting and receiving apparatus are coupled inductively to coils connected across the condensers at the earth end of the chain. For bridging transformers &c., similar inductive couplings, direct connections, or connections through a condenser or ohmic resistance, may be used.
