Abstract

248,634. Ezbelent, E. L. June 2, 1925, [Convention date]. Pleating.-In a pleating machine in which the blade elements are separately pivoted on their carriers, as in Specification 244,995. mechanical means are provided for varying the positions of selectedelements for the forward strokes of the blades. As shown, the lower blades 14 are carried by pivoted members 26 which are connected by links 29 to pivoted fingers 30 adapted to be engaged by rollers 35 mounted on rocking levers 32. The levers 32 are operated by removable cams 37 mounted in an intermittently rotated drum 36.
