Abstract
The plastic open or topless vehicle for transport or conveyance over road, land or sea, or building or stadium includes a reflective layer, a suitable lighting arrangement, glowing materials or other means of illumination on all or various sectional surfaces. The plastic may comprises transparent, translucent, tinted translucent, and/or opaque resins in the form of composites, layered panels, walls or component parts. Light emitting diodes (LED) or Organic light emitting diodes (OLED) may be used in the lighting arrangement. The sectional surfaces may be directly or indirectly illuminated. The components may change from one colour to several different shades by the click of a switch. The plastic is preferably a glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate. Complex geometric shapes formed within a reflective layer or skin, or on the opaque, transparent, translucent panels, shell, or hulls in plastic resin base so that when illuminated the reflections may glitter and sparkle as an example of decorative effects, of which may changing the appearances of the products when so desired. Preferably the vehicle is a bicycle.
Description
Specification.
Improved safeties illuminate translucent and/or opaque plastic open/top less automobiles/non motor vehicle adaptations over road, land and/or sea, and open/top less building designs where appropriate.
Field of the invention.
This is a cognate application originating from the original UK granted patent GB2391896.; however, I shall focus on an" The Artin un scooter designs" as an example only in order to clarify some of the inventions functions and implications.
The present invention relates as or for a variety of innovative devices in particular for, or as open, or top less vehicle/transportation designs and building designs, for instance innovative open bicycles, open motorbikes, open scooters with or without pedal propulsion. open quad vehicles on land through to snow vehicles, or open motor/non motor, on/off road and/or sea vehicle designs and adaptations e.g., Jet-ski's, and the like, made primarily from plastics material components, although metal structural supports, or secondary frame designs may also be included, of which provides a variety of functions and design uses.
Background of the invention.
Bicycles or scooters are light two wheeled open road/pavement vehicles used by a *... child or adults. A scooter consists of a foot board mounted on two wheels and a long steering handle propelled by pushing the other foot against the ground. A bicycle is a light open two wheeled motor driven road vehicle with a protective front or rear.
However, the problem with motor bikes, pedal bikes are that they are easily over- *....: looked whilst riding on the road, of which is a serious safety issue, bikes with a small * rear or front light is simply insufficient, particularly in congested areas, at night, or in adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, with the new silent technologies in motive power makes the circumstance for motorist even more dangerous.
* * Therefore, what is essential for open transportation in general, are to be designed, for the propose to be seen much more efficiently/distinctly on our roads as a significant safety improvement. Furthermore, open or top-less building designs are created, such as sports stadiums, patios, verandas, balcony's providing substantially improved aesthetical appearances etc. Within the summary of UK granted patent; GB2391896. The description of the invention explicitly describes "Artin Vehicles, road vehicle body designs", and the like are stated in the Title of the invention and the main benefits as well. I point these citations out, as it should obviousness, and logical blocks to any third party's with ambitions of seeking patents, or design protection on the grounds of claiming, "Transparent, Translucent, or Tinted translucent plastics, polycarbonate materials, as panels, or frame designs for open vehicles, or open building, stadium designs, of which may included illuminations within the plastics base resin, and/or multi-lighting effects for that matter" etc.
Summary of the invention.
According the present invention, open vehicles, building designs are created, including stadiums designs being primarily transparent, translucent, tinted translucent, or opaque plastic, state of the art plastics, thermoplastics, therrno-set, walls, panels materials combinations, As or For vehicles panels, shell designs, on two, or four, or multiple wheeled. Open motors, such as scooters, bikes, or bicycle designs with pedal or motor propulsion, or employing any of the latest hybrid propulsion/electronic technologies. Trailer designs, including tipping actions and/or drop down tail gate also are envisaged, made in the first instance, primarily from robust plastics, or polycarbonate resins, although any other suitable combinations of materials can be included, for instance the products structural framework. The bikes, motor bikes footboard the steering and handle assembly, the exhaust system, and suspension systems exterior/interior panels, and rear luggage holder etc, may all glow in one or more colours/lighting effects and may change in colour and appearance or the intensity of the colour can be varied via direct or indirect lighting and/or illuminating through out the entire or various sections of the concepts, from a range of suitable contrasts or fleck in colour based in a resin base, changing the appearances of the products when in use, as an enhanced safety visibility feature, and/or improved aesthetic desirability and safety feature, thereby the vehicles/boat designs etc can be seen better from any angle, not just the front and rear lights during the day or at night travelling. Furthermore, the reflective surfaces may also be including in order optimizing reflective light visibility, similar to that of reflective head lights in order to illuminate natural daylight and projected lighting of the night on it's surface, and could be included for instance on/within the structural frame.
Such open motor/non motor transport designs or building designs having Conspicuous or Inconspicuous steel roll bar frames/cages are designed allowing greater rigidity to the open structures, and structural supports and thus better all round passenger protection. Air bags could be located within the interior panels of vehicles.
Such innovative product designs differentiate "The Artin" open vehicle designs and brand quality from the competition. It is therefore also conceived that all suitable traditional metal components are constructed from robust * plastics/polycarbonateS where appropriate, e.g., translucent, or colour fast fire resistant glass fibre resin otherwise known as "The Artin open aircraft design", or any *::: other suitable material combination as well. Any suitable lighting can be used, preferably LED's/OEDs and/or illuminations. The glow of the vehicle/bike designs can be generated for instance via rechargeable battery, or small dynamo rolling against the wheel(s), or the latest solar power generation or hybrid technologies etc, all of which can simply be turned off/on via switches located appropriately.
Complex geometries are formed within the vehicles panels and/or structure so that when illuminated the reflections glisten and sparkle like a precious jewel, therefore, in day light or at dusk, the open vehicle provides substantially improved safety visibility, and aslo the illusion of hovering while travelling particularly at night.
Essentially, what "The Artin Designs" is also aiming to achieve, is to create a raft of innovative product designs, including "transparent, translucent and/or tinted translucent Rainbow coloured plastics panels, shells, hull designs", for instance to reincarnate remains of the shape, size, and configurations of all of the most popular, luxury vehicles or super car designs from the past, present as well as its own futuristic designs, "Artinized" them or, "Artinization", that is to say Redesign, Revive, Renew, and Reinvigorate them into Zl' Century which means they become "Artin Classics, Automotive jewellery, and the new Rolling Stones ranges" based in plastic resin, and/or any other suitable combinations of materials configured into complex shapes and geometries thereby designing "Artin transport concepts" and thus providing the automotive industry and the like with low weight, high robustness vehicle, the building industry, and the like with highly desirable, stylish, and aesthetically pleasing, precious jewel-like products in appearance as standard, and significantly improving safety standards and is further design enhanced with the inclusion of integrated lighting and/or illuminations effects within the shells/panels etc are variable meaning they can change colour on colour and appearance i.e., from lighting or contrasting flecks in the illuminations. Such panels shell designs may also include a reflective layer to illuminate natural daylight and lighting of the night, (particularly in transparent designs), therefore. Conventional paint spraying may not be required.
The main value and benefit of the open vehicle transport designs are therefore to provide significantly improved safety via illuminations, any lighting preferably LED's, reflection, and glowing visibility via direct or indirect lighting to all or most surfaces, thus allowing the vehicle maximum visibility to other road users, and thus substantially pleasing and enhanced functional hybrid designs with the highest standards.
An open building/stadium Roof/screen designs made from e.g., tarpaulin or plastics materials is envisaged extendable, retractable on a roller, with or without a transparent window supported by traversal arched rollers, and operated electronically in order to protect against the exterior elements. Appropriate guttering systems are also included in order to allow rain water to run off. S... * S * S. S *55S
These features are necessary in order to satisfy ever increasing consumer demands for improved safety, visibility, style, and wider choices of products; * * The reduced weight of open polycarbonate vehicles means significant fuel *SSS** * * savings.
* ** * Improved visibility could significantly reduce the rising number of fatal or * .* : near fatal accidents on bikes.
* A significant rise in the popularity of open motor bike/bikes, vehicles, sea going vessels and the like.
* Enhanced functionality and aesthetics in polycarbonate open vehicle/transport designs and such like.
* Tinted translucent UV stabilised to prevent colour fading.
The above description is by way of example only as it shall be obvious to those skilled in the art that wider implications, equivalents and substitutions are possible, therefore the definition and scope shall be set forth in the following claims, and the various innovative steps are dependent on the main claim.
