Abstract
247,013. Wood, E. A. Feb. 10, 1925. Couplings. - A conductor is attached to a spade, plug, or other terminal by forming in the shank a an axial hole b which opens to one side of the shank at c. The shank is screw-threaded and provided with a sleeve d that grips the end of the conductor e protruding through the opening c. A cover f of insulating material envelopes the shank a and sleeve d and may screw on the shank or be secured by an auxiliary member screwing into it or by a lock-nut in the case of a plug terminal.
