Resistance grids. - In grid resistances of the type in which a number of grids are threaded on insulated bolts and connected by lugs, the lugs are strengthened by stiffening-pieces also threaded on the bolts. In the arrangement shown the end e of the stiffening-piece a is bent over to bear on the bentover ends of the lugs c, d and the three are spotwelded together. Perforations g are formed in the lugs and stiffening-piece to receive terminals. Specification 195,653 is referred to.
