Abstract

242,960. Soc. Anon. des Etablissements Ballot. Nov. 17, 1924, [Convention date]. Valve gear.-In positive cam gear comprising a three-armed lever having one arm 5 connected to the valve stem and the other arms 6, 7 actuated by a pair of cams 9, 10, a spring 17, Fig. 2, is arranged between the arms 6, 7, which are made separate but have a keyed engagement with each other; or a spring plunger 22, Fig. 4, or a leaf spring is provided on the end of one or both of the arms 6 and 7. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), a spring 16, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), may be inserted between a nut 14 on the valve stem and a washer 15 engaging the arm 5. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
