Tone-arms.-In a sound conduit comprising two or more sections fitting together spigot- and-socket fashion with an interposed bushing of rubber &c. as described in the parent Specification, the spigot section 4 and the interior of the bushing 3 are correspondingly screwthreaded. The thread, which may be slightly conical, may be moulded with the section 4 if the latter is of mouldable material such as ebonite or may be formed on an extension piece if the section 4 is of wood &c.
