Abstract

240,705. Boot, C. Feb. 4, 1925. Walls; roofs.-These, consist, of a bituminous fabric 4 secured to a timber framework 1 and having applied to its surface a cementitious layer 7 which is provided with a reinforcement 5 of wire netting or expanded metal attached by chairs 6 to the framework 1 in such manner as to be disposed at a distance from the fabric 4. The fabric 4, which may be of two-ply tarred felt, is applied against light wires 2 attached to the framework. The inner part of the wall consists of wood panelling 9 secured to the timber framework 1. The. concrete may be applied by a cement gun. The chairs 6 may be in the form of spikes having notches adapted to engage the reinforcement. The reinforcement is so fixed that the concrete mav bulge slightly in order to allow for expansion and contraction.
