Abstract
240,138. Soc. Anon. Carrosserie Kelsch. Sept. 18, 1924, [Convention date]. Mounting bodies.-Road-vehicle bodies are constructed so that only the central parts of the body longitudinals 4 rest on or are secured to the chassis members to obviate the strains and stresses due to deformation of the chassis when the vehicle is running being communicated to the body. Spaces 2, 3 are left as shown between the chassis and the front and rear ends respectively of the body longitudinals 4. A further support comprising .a flexible member 11 is introduced at the rear end between the cross-members 6, 10 of the body and chassis respectively. The front part 7 of the body is arranged at a slight distance from the dashboard 8, which is carried by the chassis, to permit play.
