Abstract
239,328. Proctor, E., and Lamson Paragon Supply Co., Ltd. July 25, 1924. Roll cases; contents, delivering.-A box for stamps &c. in roll or folded strip form of the kind having a number of parallel slots in one wall of the box through which the roll or strip is threaded has three or more slots 3, 4, 5, and a cutter bar is mounted on the wall of the box in front of the slot through which the roll or strip finally emerges. As shown in Fig. 1, the cutter bar 8 consists of a piece of wire having its end portions bent at right angles and secured to the box, while in Fig. 2 it consists of a metal plate 9 with a cutting edge extending slightly beyond the box. When the stamps &c. are in roll form they are mounted on a spindle 10, Fig. 2, journaled in the side walls of the box by screws 11 passing through the box and entering the ends of the spindle. More than one roll or strip may be accommodated in each box, and each roll or strip may have its own series of parallel slots.
