Abstract
237,183. Walker, Ltd., T., and Wood, H. H. Nov. 13, 1924. Braces; socks and stocking suspenders.-In braces or suspenders having tabs or attachment means carried by a frame or plate 4 with a lever grip 8 the greater part of the rear of the plate is covered by the main suspender band 3 and there is only one thickness of band between the lever and the plate. The band is passed through a slot 2 in the plate and doubled to form a loop l, the one end of the band being gripped in an extension 10 of the plate, which is clenched down over it. An extension 7 on the plate serves to grip the ends of the button carrying loop 6 which ends, together with one end of the band 3, may be gripped by an extension on the plate. In Fig. 7 is shown a similar construction applied to braces, the attachment plate being provided with a loop 12 in the tab ends. A pair of ears bent over at the sides of the brace strap may replace the extension 10.
