Abstract
237,177. Chamberlain, A. J. Feb. 6, 1925. Detachable stoppers secured by clips; packing rings for stoppers.-A metal box, tin, drum, &c., for paint, paste, oil, varnish, &c., is provided with a closure constituted by a seating 2, 2<a> in the neck of the body in which engage parts 9, 9<a> of a lid, such lid being held in place by turned in lugs 5 of the body, and a gasket 3 being in some cases provided to render the closure hermetic. A hoop 7 is held in place round the end of the body by other lugs 4 on the body.
