Portable s p i r i t stoves. - In a preserving- and cooking vessel telescopicaJly and detachably combined with a heating- device and provided with an hermetic closure device comprising a spring clamp, spring supports 25 on the heating - device 23 are formed with studs 26 adapted to engage in spaced annular grooves 27, 28 on the vessel 1 to hold it in the inoperative or operative position respectively. The heater 23 is adapted to contain solid or liquid fuel, air holes 24 ensuring the combustion thereof.
