Abstract

232,839. Feld, R. vom., and Meijer, M. A. Aug. 13, 1924. Safety valves.- Safety valves for receptacles for inflammable liquids are contained in a two-storied annular chamber around a pipe opening into the receptacle. The valves open in the same direction and the valves n in the inlet half of the chamber communicate by openings q above the valve, and the valves m in the outlet half communicate by openings p below the valve, with the interior of the receptacle. Openings s, r to the outer air or a gas reservoir are conespondingly reversed in position.
