Abstract

231,739. Levick, J. Aug. 23,1924. Weather - - excluders. - The lower fixed panel 2 of a wind screen has a flexible rubber &c. strip 6 attached at the upper edge and adapted to engage the lower edge of the upper movable panel 7 to exclude rain &c. The strip is held between flanges 5 on a metal channel 1 which is clamped to the panel by screws 3 and nuts or bosses on the channel with or without an intermediate clamping bar engaged by the headed end of the screws 3. The strip may be clamped between flanges on two channels, one of which envelops the other and is clamped as described above.
