Overhead lamps.-In an electric light fitting, adapted for use as a wall lamp or as an overhead lamp in a railway carriage, ship's cabin or the like, a sheet-metal globe ring b is hinged to a sheet-metal reflector e. The inverted troughshaped portion e<1> of the reflector may be secured by screws to a suitable base plate and the rim e<2> has downwardly projecting lugs h for centering the globe ring. The reflector may be convexedly conical as shown or concavedly conical, spherical, or flat, and a centrally arranged single lamp bulb c or a cluster of two or more lamp bulbs may be employed.
