Abstract

224,130. Hedberg, C. H., (Hedberg, J. A. A.). July 21, 1924. Composition fuel.-A fire-lighter consists of a moulded mixture of peat in granular condition, small coal or slack, Stockholm or coal tar, and paraffin wax. In an example the composition of the mixture is 15 per cent of peat, 15 per cent of coal, 45 per cent of tar, and 25 per cent of paraffin wax. The fire-lighter may take the shape of a match-box or of blocks or cylinders or consist of a portion of a rod or bar which is weakened at intervals to facilitate breaking.
