223,707. Headley, F. H. Sept. 18, 1923. Pedestal and like stands. - The support for a seat 28 consists of a post 19 with a cross piece connected to the side members 25 of the seat. The post is slidably and rotatably mounted in a standard comprising two spaced collars 14 and tubular members 16 secured in recesses therein, and is held in its vertically adjusted position by a pin engaging one of a series of. holes. In a modification, the post has a screw connection with one of the collars.
