" AYO " 1) OBJECT
TO REMOVE ALL YOUR OPPONENT'S SEEDS FROM HIS/HER SIDFE OF THE
BOARD.
2) SET-UP
A) PLACE THR BOARD LENGTHWAYS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT,
SO THAT EACH OF YOU HAS 6 CUPS.
B) WQUALLY DIVIDE THE 48 SEEDS PROVIDED BETWEEN THE CUPS ON
THE BOARD THUS MAKING 4 SPEEDS IN EACH CUP.
3) RULES
A) EACH PLAYER MAY INITIATE MOVES FROM HIS/HER OWN SIDE OF
THE BOARD ONLY, BUT MAY INITIATE A MOVE FROM ANY CUP.
B) ALL MOVES RE MADE IN AN ANTI-CLOCKWISE DIRECTION.
C) PLAYERS MOVE ALTERNATELY.
D) ) TO MAKE A MOVE CHOOSE WHICH CUP FROM WHICH YOU WISH | TO INITIATE THE MOVE PICK UP ALL THE SEEDS IN THAT CUP AND DROP THEM, ONE BY
ONE, IN EACH CONSECUTIVE CUP IN AN ANTI-CLOCKWISE
DIRECTION.
N.E' AT ALL TIMES ONLY ONE SEED MAY E:E DROPPED INTO ANY ONE
CUP. h MOVE MAY BE INITIATED FROM ANY CUP, HOWEVER MANY
SEEDS IT CONTAINS. DEPENDING ON FROM WHERE YOU INITIATED
YOUR MOVE, THE LAST SEED MAY BE DROPPED INTO A CUP ON
YOUR SIDE OF THE E:OARD, OR ON YOUR OPPONENT'S SIDE,
E) TO WIN SEEDS
THE LAST SEED TO BE DROPPED IS THE POTENTIAL SEED-WINNER,
SHOULD YOU MAKE TWO OR THREE SEEDS WHEN YOUR LAST SEED IS
DROPPED INTO CUP ON YOUR OPPONENT'S SIDE, YOU MAY
REMOVE ALL THE SEEDS FROM THAT CUP, LEAVING IT EMPTY.
PLACE ALL THE SEEDS IN YOUR TRAY TO YOUR RIGHT ON THE
BOARD,
F) YOU MAY MOVE SEEDS WHICH ARE ALONE IN A CUP,
G) EMPTY CUPS ARE ALWAYS INPLAY, AND SEEDS MUST BE DROPPED
INTO THEM IF THEY FORM PART OF THE CONSECUTIVE CHAIN OF
CUPS IN ANY ONE MOVE.
H) SHOULD YOUR LAST SEED LAND IN AN EMPTY CUP IT MUST REMAIN
THERE, AND NOT E:E REMOVED IN THE COURSE OF THAT PARTI-
CULAR MOVE.
Claims (1)
- (1) AYO (Board Game) is a Board carved from wood or made in Plastic "MOCKWOOD". The Board has twelve cups or holes.(2) The Board as claimed in Claim 1 has twelve cups or holes six on either side of the opponent.(3) The Board as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2, has two trays, each at end of the six cups or holes.(4) The Board as claimed in Claim 2 or Claim 3, has two hinges separating the six cups or holes. These hinges make it foldable with two handles for easy carriage.(5) The Board as claimed in Claim 4 has 48 seeds equally divided between the cups or holes on the Board thus making 4 seeds in each cup.(6) The Board as claimed in any preceding claim, has48 seeds carved from wood in a circular shape.(7) 'AYO' Board Game substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1-3 of the accompanying drawing.
