Abstract
222,584. Enock, C. R. July 6, 1923. Propelling by means other than adhesion driving-wheels and racks, aeroplane attachments for reducing load on wheels.--A railway vehicle a propelled by an air-screw b driven by a selfcontained motor, and having planes c is provided with flangeless wheels e, horizontal guide wheels g and vertical or inclined detaining wheels h. In addition safety skates k with or without rollers, may be provided for engagement with the top and edge of the rails. The vehicle is preferably of stream-line form as described in Specification 222,554.
