Abstract

220,817. Ewarts, Ltd., and Smith, G. B. Sept. 7, 1923. Oil-hole closures. - A lid 1 is pivoted to a lubricator by a spring ring 8 located in a groove 10 formed on the inner surface of the wall 6 of the lubricator, the ring passing through a hole 7 formed in a rectangular lug 3 on the underside of the lid, and is maintained in the open or closed position by a resilient liner 14 bearing against the lug. The lug extends into a recess 9 in the wall 6.
