220,235. Broodbank, R. V. Feb. 5, 1924. Folding boxes; fittings, internal.- A box for brushes and other articles used in cleaning and polishing boots and shoes comprises sides and ends 2 - - 5 hinged to the bottom 1 and a lid 6 hinged to one of the sides or ends. strips of carding cloth 11, 12, 13 being secured to the inside of some of the sides &c. to hold brushes 14, 15, 16 and clips 17, 18, 21 and loops 22 being secured to other of the ends &c. to hold tins of polish 19, a polishing cloth or pad 23 and a scraper 24, means are provided for securing the sides, &c. together. As shown rabbets 8 8 on the sides engage the edges of the ends, and corner pieces 9 on the lid engage the corners of the sides and ends, the lid being secured by a fastening 10; on releasing the fastening the box can be opened out flat when the various articles are easily accessible.
