Abstract

A valve for controlling the supply of fuel to a vehicle engine comprises a rotary valve member E which is movable to open and close a fuel line by means of a key A. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Inline fuel switch To be fitted in line with the fuel pipe of an auto or boat engine.
To restrict the flow of fuel to the engine.
By turning the switch to the on position the engine can be restarted again.
A. Key.
B. Barrel look C. Top body.
D. Valve tension spring.
E. Shut off valve.
F. 0 ring seal.
G. Bottom body.
H. Fuel inlet-outlet pipes.
I. Fuel inlet-outlet pipe guard.
J. Fuel inlet-outlet pipe guard retaining screw.
K. Welch plug.
L. Body fixing screw.
The inline fuel switch when fitted to the fuel line from an automobile or boat engine or any other mechanical form requiring liquid fuel, will prevent the fuel from reaching the carburettor or fuel injection system and so prevent the engine starting.
The only way the switch can be turned on or off is by using the key made for the lock.
