218,924. Heylman, F. C. Dec. 18, 1923. Closure m e m b e r s, rotary conical.- The plug 8 of a plug cock is provided with a packing 9 around the stem 7, secured by a gland 10, and the lower end of the plug bears against the head 13 of a projecting stem 6 which may be rounded and is also provided with packing 14. The plug may be tightened in its seating by a blow on the stem 7 or by tightening screws 11, 12, and it may likewise be loosened, when required, by a blow on the stem 6 or by tightening screws 16.
