Inflating, methods of.-A cylinder 1 mounted coaxially but clear of the wheel w is fitted with a compressed-air supply-pipe 6 and a pipe 10 leading to the tyre-valve. The cylinder is prevented from rotation, as by means of an adjustable rod 13 guided through the mud-guard, the pipe 10 having a ball-bearing support 9 in the cylinder-head.
