Spray carburettors.-Light or heavy fuel is supplied alternatively to the fuel nozzle from two float chambers b, c under the control of needle valves k, k<1> operated by a manually-actuated T- shaped lever t. The fuel after passing through the valve-controlled orifices i or i<1> passes through the restricted passage in a horizontal plug q, Fig. 3, communicating with a conduit p leading to the nozzle. When heavy fuel is used, the exhaust pipe may be arranged alongside or around the induction-pipe.
