Folding boxes made from special blanks. .- A collapsable cardboard or like box or box-lid is formed from a blank shaped as shown in Fig. 1, and is erected into the form shown in Fig. 3 by first folding along lines 5 5, 5<1> 5<1> to form two double walls, next turning extensions D, D<1> inwards to form parts of the ends and then folding flaps C, C<1>, about lines 3, 4 over the extension D, D<1> narrow locking tabs C<2>, B<2> being arranged to be on the bottom, the tabs B<2> engaging over the tabs C<2>. The extensions D, D<1> may be arranged to overlap, or may be cut along the dotted lines or the extension may consist only of the parts D or the parts D<1>. The locking tabs may consist of two short tabs arranged one towards each end of the part B. Thumb notches may be formed by cutting out parts E or by cutting out along the dotted lines.-
