Abstract
215,186. Preen, A. April 25, 1923. Transformers.-In a transformer for wireless receiving sets, wherein a terminal board 15, a laminated core 2, and a winding 1 are clamped between two metal stampings 3 drawn together by bolts 10 to form a casing for the transformer, the stampings are arranged to meet when drawn together, so that the transformer is completely enclosed. The engaging edges of the stampings 3 are provided with interlocking shoulders 6, 7 for the purpose of locating them in the correct position. Packing strips of soft or resilient material are preferabJy placed between the sides of the stampings and the core. The stampings are also provided with projecting lugs 12 for mounting the transformer in position on a base-plate on board.
