Abstract

214,496. Weir, A. P. June 13, 1923. Moving chamber apparatus.-A cover a having an orifice e is fitted on the inside with a hopper d provided with radial openings f, the hopper being secured to the cover around the orifice e, and also secured to and surrounded bv a funnel h. In a modification the hopper has the head part of the cone uppermost and the cover is provided with many orifices for spriukling. The hopper may be closed at the bottom by an adjustable screw cap g for varying the capacity. In a third form, a bell-shaped hopper is secured to the cover around the central orifice and a bowl mounted beneath the hopper is secured to the cover by brackets. In use, the cover either forms the cover of the container or may be substituted for it and the vessel inverted. On again placing the vessel upright and inverting it a second time, a measured quantity of the contents is delivered.
