Screens, furniture.-A draught screen is combined on one side with a wardrobe so that both are independently operative, while the other side may be plain or fitted with shelves and drawers. A boot locker 3, provided with doors or a curtain, may be situated under the wardrobe 2. Rockers 4 - - 9 secured to the same side of the screen 1 have fronts horizontally hinged, and the front of an upper locker 5 is supported horizontally to form a dressing table. The front of the locker 4 falls down over the locker 5 so as to form the back of the dressing table. It may be provided with a mirror. The panel 12 of the screen, which is normally turned to conceal the ends of the lockers 4 - - 9, is preferably provided with a long mirror 13. The screen may have a flat top 18 and carry on the opposite side shelves 14 - - 17, and a concealed washstand 19 which has a hinged top 20, a fall-down front 21 and a cupboard 22. Receptacles 24, 26, 27 provided in the end of the washstand and a hinged lid 25 on the drawer 24 serve as a writing desk. A triangular cupboard 23 is fitted in the corner formed by the screen and washstand. The articles may be detached and the screen folded up.
