Abstract

The invention is a plastic moulded jacket with thro-printed inscription or symbol to identify drinks of the same colour in similar drinking glasses. In public bars and clubs the invention personalises one's drinking glass. The flexing of the plastic clips and grips over the drinking glass body or base.

Description

SPECIFICATION Identijacket Identijacket is a plastic moulded jacket which clip-fit over drinking glasses.
The purpose of the identijackets is to identify drinks of the same colour, in the same glasses as well as to decorate the glass.
Identijackets can be made by using a moulding tool and the conventionmoulding press.
The drawing with my application shows a cross section of a moulding tool inserts, in the fully closed position with a moulded jacket.
Identijackets are process when a selected, plastic is injected into the core (1) and cavity (2) which forms the shapes. The stripping ring (3) remove the moulded jacket off the core as tool opens.
The name insert (4) is a sliding fit insert shuting around the core leaving through names in jacket.
The feedbush (5) shuts against the core centre where plastic is control by gates.
The ejector pin (6) ejects the sprue from the moulding tool.
Claims (Filed on 28th April, 1983) 1. A fiexible plastic moulded jacket for clipping over a drinking glass having a name is moulded through the material of the jacket.
2. A moulded jacket according to claim 1, having a design moulded through the material.
3. A moulded jacket according to claim 1, having formed of a material selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, ionomers, polyesters, polyvinyl chloride and butadiene copolymers.
4. A moulded jacket according to any one of the preceding claims, is opaque.
5. A moulded jacket according to claim 4, wherein the opacity is provided by a coloured pigment.
6. A moulded jacket according to any of the preceding claims, formed by moulding.

1. A fiexible plastic moulded jacket for clipping over a drinking glass having a name is moulded through the material of the jacket.
2. A moulded jacket according to claim 1, having a design moulded through the material.
3. A moulded jacket according to claim 1, having formed of a material selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, ionomers, polyesters, polyvinyl chloride and butadiene copolymers.
4. A moulded jacket according to any one of the preceding claims, is opaque.
5. A moulded jacket according to claim 4, wherein the opacity is provided by a coloured pigment.
