Safety valves. - In apparatus for generating combustion products under pressure comprising cylinders 8, 9 with a common piston 23 and collecting or storage chambers 47, 17, a valve 42 has openings 60, 61 to the chambers 17, 47 and is divided by a diaphragm 64 with spring.loaded valves 65, 71 opening in opposite directions, the valve 65 being connected by a spring 68 to a piston 67 controlled by an adjustable spring 69.
