Abstract

212,267. Parish, E. A. March 1, 1923, [Convention date]. Hand - brush outfits; reservoir brushes. - An outfit for cle'aning and polishing shoes comprises a metal plate c carrying brush elements a<1>, a<2>, a<3> and a hinged cover e for a tube i containing polish, the neck of which is inserted in an aperture in the brush a<3>. The, plate c may terminate at one end in a scraper c<1>. The cover is kept closed by means of a pivoted catch g on the plate c which engages with a projection e<1>. The polish is expressed from the tube i by means of a slotted key l<1>. The neck of the tube may be screwed to the body of the tube or may be integral therewith, terminating in a screw can.
