Blocks acting on drums.-In an internal brake for motor-vehicles, the shoes F have their forked ends F<2> pivoted on pins E projecting on either side of a spaced web C with which the anchor plate A is provided. When, as shown, the anchor plate is dished, the web lies in the same radial plane as the centre of the plate. The pins E may be further supported in a boss H carried by the anchor plate.
