Abstract

495,002. Brakes. FORD MOTOR CO., Ltd. Feb. 18, 1938, No. 5096. Convention date, March 17, 1937. [Class 103 (i)] To prevent the entrance of water between a brake drum and the anchor plate, the anchor plate 22 is formed with an annular groove 24 and the drum with a grooved flange 26, the parts being arranged as shown. The drum is shown as forming part of the front wheel of a motor vehicle. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to British Specification 451,612 and U.S.A. Specifications 1,974,565, 1,995,691, and 2,003,063.
