Abstract
211,564. Farnham, R. V. Nov. 21, 1922. Closets, disinfecting.-When a flush passes down the pipe 9 some of the water is intercepted by a scoop 7 and is conveyed by a pipe 8 to a. chamber 2. A float 13 connected to a valve 16 in a conical chamber 4 at the bottom of a disinfectant container 1 thereupon rises, carrying with it a cone 6. Disinfectant between the two cones is expelled into the water in the chamber 2. The mixture of water and disinfectant then escapes slowly, after the flush, by an aperture 12.
