Driving external machines.-In apparatus of the kind in which a pulley or like transmission member 2 is secured to one of the driving road wheels of the vehicle the securing means comprise hooked or U-shaped bolts 5 each of which engages a single spoke of the road wheel. The bolts may extend through the body of the pulley as shown, or may pass through a flange 1 on the pulley.
