Abstract

A boiler C is supported above a burner F by circumventing stainless steel fire-bars D which are in turn surrounded by a stainless steel reflector N. The heat absorbed by the bars is radiated directly and via the reflector to the boiler.

Description

SPECIFICATION A radiant heating assembly transmitting heat to a central heating system The assembly comprises an assembly unit to produce radiant heating to a central heating system. The invention is described with reference to drawings no. 1, 2, and 3. The central heating boiler 'C' is heated from a fuel burner 'F' in a position surrounding the lower side of the boiler 'C', with supported fire-bars 'D', made of stainless steel and surrounding the sides of the boiler. The fire-bars are fixed to a stainless steel reflector 'N' surrounding the outside of the fire-bars, to produce radiant heating to the sides of the boiler 'C' and passing the heat throughout the central heating system.
The pressure in the boiler will be controlled by a thermstat 'J' in the control unitE' Figure 2. Automatic ignition by electric spark 'I' will also be controlled from the control unit. The fuel burner will be enclosed and insulated with a good insulating material from the full depth of the assembly and surrounding the outside to retain heat within the assembly and maintaining improved heating throughout the central heating system. The automatic current supply 'G' will be controlled from the control unit, also the flame protection, through the main valve 'H'.
The heat from the fuel burner 'F' will heat both the boiler 'C' and the stainless steel fire-bars, rising between the space of the reflector and fire-bars then reflected towards the sides of the boiler, thereby increasing the heating power even when the fuel burner is off, due to the added heat being contained within the assembly unit, then being reflected both ways between the boiler and the assembly unit. The stainless steel metal has been chosen for the reflector and fire-bars because of its immense heat retaining qualities and thereby producing radiant heating very economically.
The insulation will completely surround the assembly unit and will be of a fire-proof material, of a good thickness to ensure heat being maintained within the assembly as long as possible and thereby greatly reducing the running costs of the central heating system.
1. A boiler assembly unit to produce radiant heating to a central heating system.
2. A boiler assembly according to claim 1 with special stainless steel fire-bars and reflector to produce radiant heating to the sides of a boiler and heating the water in a central heating system.
3. A boiler assembly enclosed with fire-proof material for good insulation and protection and separated from the control unit.
4. A boiler assembly according to claim 2 and 3 having an automatic control unit with (A) A thermostat.
(B) An electric ingnition spark control (C) An automatic power supply.
(D) Automatic flame control.
5. A boiler assembly unit constructed substantially as here-in described with reference to the drawings accompanying the enclosed application.
