Abstract

208,365. Robotti, I. Dec. 6, 1922. Measuring use of fraudulent current by special windings; induction motor meters.-An arrangement for counteracting fraudulent interference with electric meters comprises two mutually compensating current windings c, d in series with the mains and wound on a laminated core f provided with short-circuited rings e, e<1>. A differential magnetic field is produced by the windings c, d when the supply is interfered with and produces an added driving torque on the meter disc. A separate disc may be provided, and on polyphase circuits more than one set of coils c, d are employed. The interference may be indicated by visible signals.
