Abstract
204,564. Williams, S. Nov. 2, 1922. Hubs.-The hubs of perambulator and other vehicle wheels consist of a tubular sleeve 4 mounted on the axle 6, and two separate spoke flanges 1 rotatably mounted upon and directly engaging the sleeve 4 and spaced by an outer sleeve 5. Each spoke flange is in the form of an annular disc stamped from sheet metal, and the spoke holes 2 are also formed by stamping preferably in the same operation. Slots 11 or perforations may be provided in the inner sleeve for retaining lubricant supplied through an oil opening 12 in the outer sleeve.
