Mixing fluids in flow.-An apparatus for filling water carts with water containing a definite proportion of another liquid such as a dust-laying medium comprises an injector 4 fitted to the water conduit or hydrant 2 so as to draw a small proportion of the dust-laying medium from a vessel 9. The nozzle of the injector may be changed for the purpose of supplying a different proportion of dust-laying medium.
