Abstract

A rotary pressing cage (10) for continuously squeezing oliferous soft seeds or the like, having a pressing unit comprising two radially opposed and co-acting rotary surfaces defined by the outer periphery of a pressing disc (13) rotatable on its axis (14) and the inner peripheral surface (19'') of an annular drainage cage (19) surrounding the pressing disc (13), the drainage cage (19) being rotatable on an ideal axis, parallel to and spaced from the axis (14) of the pressing disc (13), spaced apart freely revolving cylindrical supports (20 a-f) against which the peripheral outer surface (19') of the cage (19) is adapted to abut and rotate, and driving means to drive the pressing disc (13) about its axis (14). <IMAGE>
