Abstract

Continuous casting apparatus consists of an ingot mould (1) and an inductor (7) for electro-magnetically rotating the liquid metal as it is cast. The inductor (7) is mounted upon a movable table (12) so that its position, relative to the ingot mould, can be adjusted to maintain the rear wall of the mould coincident with line 13. <IMAGE>
