Abstract

A pneumatic tyre vehicle wheel comprises a rim and a disc. The disc has an attachment zone 3 which is intended to co-operate with means for fixing the wheel to the hub of the vehicle, and a web or outer portion 4 placed between the attachment zone and the rim and by means of which the disc is fixed to the rim. On at least one surface of the disc there is provided, concentrically with the rotational axis of the wheel, a rigid, continuous, annular member 9 secured to or integral with the disc, and preferably having the greatest possible ratio betweeen its moment of inertia and the surface area of its radial section. <IMAGE>
