Abstract

A pressureless milk pump comprises a piston and cylinder device with an outlet valve 20 in the cylinder and an inlet valve 34 in the piston 28 the valves being valve members guided by actuating rods 26, 36 which extend parallel to the cylinder axis and pass in sealed manner through an end of the cylinder remote from the outlet valve. The piston is guided by at least two guide rods 56 parallel to the actuating rods and also passing in sealed manner through the same end of the cylinder. <IMAGE>
