Abstract

201,584. Pacey, J. W. March 1, 1922. Rope railways.-In chain-haulage railways, the chain is driven by a short supplementary chain L provided with teeth N engaging the main chain. The main chain is composed of vertical and horizontal links A, B connected to pivots D, E disposed at right-angles on a block C, certain of the links A having an upwards extension A<1> to engage the wagons. In a modification, Fig. 4, the links A have extensions A<2> on which levers H are pivoted.
