Abstract

In an air blower in a hair dryer, air from an inlet passes through a fan chamber 2 under the action of a fan driven by a motor and passes into an air passage 3. The air passage is divided axially by a partition wall 9 into a first air path 10 for cold air and a second air path 11, in which is located a heater 12, for heated air. Airflow is selectively distributed as between the first and second paths by suitable means, such as a movable door 16 on the upstream side of the two paths. <IMAGE>
