Abstract

1,238,914. Hair driers. L. PRADARELLI AND A. DE ANGELIS. 13 Aug., 1968 [5 Sept., 1967], No. 38640/68. Heading A5R. A hood type hair drier includes electric heating elements 3 and two fans 5 and 7 arranged so that fresh air is continually drawn in through the heating elements by the first fan 5 which forces the heated air into a chamber 6 which surrounds the head, the second fan 7 drawing the moist air from this chamber and expelling it through vents 8 in the top of the hood. The second fan may also draw cooling air over the motor, expelling it through the vents. Means 13, 14 for diffusing the hot air over the wet hair and for supporting the head may also be included.
