Abstract
There is provided a process for rapid direct evaluation of photometric measurement values, wherein a) all measurement positions 12 are successively scanned so that, after the last measurement position, the first measurement position is again reached, and this scanning of the measurement positions is repeated at high speed, b) the voltage thereby produced in the photometric measurement cell 6 serves for the deflection of an oscillograph 7 and c) the scanning frequency of the measurement positions is co-ordinated with the oscillograph sweep. A device for rapid photometric direct evaluation of thin layer chromatograms 5, 12 comprises a) a rotatable receiver 10, 11 by means of which the chromatogram can be scanned with constant rotation speed by the measurement head 6 so that, after a constant time, the starting position is again reached; and b) an oscillograph 7 so connected that the voltage produced in the measurement cell 6 serves for the deflection of the oscillograph, the rotation speed of the chromatogram 5 being arranged to be co-ordinated with the oscillograph sweep. <IMAGE>
