Abstract

The assembly comprising a safety valve 16 which closes a gas passage when it is in an inoperative position and opens the gas passage when it is in an operative position, an operation member 7, 12 which is capable of moving in an axial direction and rotating with the axis as a center, a holder device 14 for holding said safety valve in an operative position when said safety valve is moved to the operative position by the axial movement of said operation member, means for energising said holder means after having confirmed the flame of combustion, and a cock 2 located on the flow-out side of said safety valve and which is caused to turn by the rotation of said operation member in the same direction, wherein in order to inhibit the operation of said safety valve and cock until said safety valve is restored to the inoperative position after the flame of combustion has been extinguished, the motion of said operation member in the axial direction is restricted by a pin 19 so that a second pin 9 prevents rotation until said pin 19 is moved laterally by the return of the safety valve to the inoperative position. <IMAGE>
